Journey of the Mind is the story and thoughts of a self-educated individual. I graduated from a prestigious high school, attempted university, but could never really do it. There are multiple reasons, but one of the reasons why is the amount of BS that everyone seems to accept and tolerate. I suppose everyone wants to be marketable at the expense of another mortgage, as well as forcing themselves to recite something they will never use. I eventually decided to educate myself. I think education is important, but I do not think the system is optimal. Thus, I read non-fiction. If you read my blog, I will write about different forms of art ranging from video games, movies, music – to subjects in magazine articles and books ranging from physics, economics, to neurology.

This blog explores anything and everything. There is no central topic. I’m tailoring this blog to be a snapshot of my reasoning; my perception. Above all I hope this blog makes the reader think. If the reader doesn’t agree, then at least I hope the post made that person think critically about what I am saying. I would like to think my readers are learning from what I have to say. I work so that the overall reading experience for the reader is a positive one. Those are the three core goals I have in regards to my blog.

What I love about this blog is it is an empty canvas. I get to write what I see fit, typically with an analytical theme. I thoroughly enjoy writing on my blog, I hope you enjoy reading my blog, and I’m very thankful to be able to share a glimpse of my world with you.

Well…the first thing I read informed me that I am older than you lol! I like what you wrote about having a sense of direction and your perceptions. You sound quite intelligent with great insight! We hope to learn from our mistakes and learning about others mistakes cannot help but be a good thing. It is all about choices we make. Good luck with your writing!

Mari! You are awesome! Thanks for the luck for my writing. I suggest you get a blog so you can work on some of your writing, and so I got another reason to bother you.

HAHAHA! You will NEVER bother me!!! Write me ANYTIME you want! I have just written a poem for you that I will publish shortly. I wrote it for you because I can tell that you are a GOOD person with morals who believes in God and angels and the goodness in man.

Ah yes well, I do believe in a God, and I do hope for the goodness in man, but I suggest you read my entry on this blog about The Tree of Knowledge. It might throw you off for a bit.

What you share with the world, is what it keeps of you.

That’s a really cool statement. You are right. Maybe my words will be read after I am long gone.
